What is the difference between CompensationDisclosure.com and CompensationStandards.com?
We can understand how the two sites can be confusing. This may be the best way to understand them:
- Instead of just publishing an annual Treatise on executive compensation disclosures in hard copy, we decided to also post it online and publish a quarterly newsletter to cover developments that arise during the course of the year. Thus, you can think about CompensationDisclosure.com really as just an annual version of a hard-copy book.
- In comparison, CompensationStandards.com is a site devoted to responsible pay practices - most of the resources on the site relate to pay design, etc. However, there also is content on that site that relates to executive compensation disclosures - including the Q&A Forum, Borges' "Proxy Disclosure Blog" and a number of "Practice Areas" devoted to specific areas of disclosure requirements and SEC rule developments generally.
